This is an article done over 10 years ago, but it is something that I like to go back to every once in a while.  The author, Bill Schultz, pulls no punches and presents his case for the prosecution.  I can get into examples, but your read of his paper is going to be long enuff.  I'll let this be short and I won't even spoil the ending for you!!
